Tensegrity Training is an innovative training organisation committed to multidisciplinary teaching approaches, resulting in the exceptional communication of knowledge and skills.

Our team of dedicated trainers have decades of experience in the Pilates and Movement industries with fully functioning training studios around the country.  Wunda Chair, Cadillac, Reformer Essentials, Reformer Advanced, Small Apparatus, Small Barrels and Arcs.

Pilates Group Reformer Short Courses

This course will enable you to safely teach clients in the group fitness context equipping graduates with the skills required to develop into exceptional Pilates Professionals with knowledge and confidence to run Reformer-based classes. 


Session 1: Sunday 20th May 9am - 5pm

Session 2: Saturday 9th June 2pm - 6pm

Session 3: Sunday 10th June 9am - 5pm

Who should attend this course?

Fitness professionals, Pilates Matwork Instructors and Allied Health workers who want to incorporate Pilates with their clients in group Reformer settings.


There are no pre-requisites, however it is suggested that some prior experience in Pilates is beneficial.

Two-and-a-half days 


This course has an accredited outcome of Units of Competency  units of competency:  PILEQU501 Teach Pilates Reformer repertoire, ARTMAT401 Apply basic Pilates anatomy, ARTMAT405 Teach active dynamic pelvic floor training, ARTMAT407 Design functional Pilates flow choreography.


Additional $150 for assessment for PILEQU501 Teach Pilates Reformer Essentials. (optional)

  • YGraduates will be in demand in the workplace and can easily articulate into either of the Tensegrity Training Certificate IV or Diploma courses at a later date.


Additional Assessment requirements:
Optional assessment for the nationally accredited unit of competency PILEQU501 Teach Pilates Reformer repertoire requires requires undertaking Reformer Essentials and Reformer Intermediate and Advanced Short Courses and additional assessment activities.
The additional assessment activities required for the units of competency PILEQU501 Teach Pilates Reformer repertoire involves:

  • Developing a session plan based on the Tensegrity 8 Part SystemTM and delivery of the session plan to client(s) in your workplace, working with the reformer repertoire
  • Knowledge assessment relating to the Reformer
  • Practical assessment of the Reformer repertoire during the workshop
